CASUAL ROLE

The suitable applicant will be highly skilled in Visual Merchandising with experience in interior design. 

You will work alongside our management team, to create a visually pleasing atmosphere within our showroom that aligns with our overall brand strategy. 

The position is casual/contract one day a week, 9am – 5pm, with growth potential, based at our head office in Ashmore, Gold Coast, Queensland. 

The ideal candidate is highly efficient, creative and a team player who can demonstrate:

  • Creating and implementing a visual merchandising strategy for the showroom, events and photoshoots
  • Working closely with the Marketing and Showroom team, ensuring the visual plan is in line with our brand strategy
  • Sourcing décor accessories and creative materials for displays
  • Changing displays to highlight new product arrivals, limited edition collections, or to reflect seasonal trends 
  • Proven work experience in visual merchandising
  • Working knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
  • Oversee the presentation of the whole showroom
  • Highly creative, imaginative and artistic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Graphic design skills a bonus

FULL TIME ROLE

We are looking for a driven, positive and people-friendly superstar to be responsible for the management of relationships and sales with key clients. 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

As part of our customer service team, you will maintain existing assigned relationships and grow your client base by creating long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned clients. 

You will work alongside and report directly to our fabulous Senior Account Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing trade client portfolio; order requests, information, product care, sales leads, monitoring orders from quote through to delivery.
  • Building and maintaining strong and effective working relationships
  • Effective customer care to our clients
  • Actively prospecting new trade clients
  • Effectively translate strategic goals and objectives into a sales and growth plan for assigned account base
  • Organising workload and resources in order to accomplish goals
  • Demonstrate positive work ethics to align with other team members and employees

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic customer service professional preferably with experience in the interiors industry to build and maintain our growing trade business accounts. You will provide a seamless service whilst maintaining long- term relationships with our wonderful wholesale clients. 

A key attribute is to build lasting relationships and have the ability to understand our client’s requests, plan how to meet these requests and generate sales as a result.

Above all, our ideal candidate will have an epic work ethic enabling them to fit into the Uniqwa corporate culture; one of engagement, drive, positivity and teamwork. 

We have a close-knit team environment; you will be required to work cohesively and efficiently to maintain our high standards of customer service.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional, positive and friendly communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid computer skills
  • The ability to show initiative and problem solve
  • Able to multi-task effectively

  • Ability to build & maintain an expert level of product knowledge
  • A background in the interiors industry or B2B sales is strongly preferred

FULL TIME ROLE

The suitable applicant will be highly skilled in bookkeeping (Xero) with strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a high level of computer literacy. You will work alongside our Client Administrator and Executive Assistant. 

The position is full-time Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, based at our head office in Ashmore, Gold Coast, Queensland. 

The ideal candidate is highly efficient, personable and can demonstrate:

  • Managing the bookkeeping and administrative tasks associated with day to day business 
  • Highly proficient in Xero, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliation
  • Accounting or bookkeeping qualification highly regarded
  • BAS Agent qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Payroll
  • Proficient in Microsoft office 
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. A friendly and positive attitude 
  • Experience working with inventory management, point of sale (POS) cloud-based inventory systems such as Cin 7 (appreciated but not required)

The suitable applicant will be interested in supporting our warehouse team, the backbone of Uniqwa operations.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Unloading shipping containers
  • Heavy lifting & furniture handling
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated team player with a 'can-do' attitude
  • High attention to detail, accuracy in picking and packing
  • Quality control monitoring & reporting
  • Highly organised
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Woodworking / furniture repair / furniture detailing (bonus)
