Senah Sculptural Composite Pendant Light | Light Roast

The Senah Pendant explores volume, texture and shadow through a layered hand-forming composite process that gives each piece its own surface depth and tonal character. 

Its elongated conical form creates a strong vertical presence while maintaining a soft, organic aesthetic. Suspended individually or in a clustered arrangement, Senah brings sculptural interest and atmospheric light to residential and commercial interiors. 

Each piece is formed over an iron substrate frame and hand-finished with a composite of reclaimed paper fibres and natural binders. This layered process creates the collection's distinctive texture, depth and sculptural character, with subtle variation in tone and surface ensuring no two pieces are identical.

Light Roast Finish

Crafted from hand-formed papier-mâché composite in small batches, each pendant is individually finished by hand.

The Light Roast finish features soft mineral tones inspired by limestone, chalk and weathered earth. Variations in natural light, surrounding finishes and the hand-applied colouring process may cause the pendant to appear lighter or darker than in photography. Tonal variation between pieces is expected and forms part of the design.

No two pendants are identical. Variations in texture, form, tone and surface movement are intentional outcomes of the process and central to the character of each piece.

This piece is exceptionally heavy due to the density of the papier-mâché, which may also result in slight warping during suspension. These characteristics are inherent to the construction and contribute to the organic nature of the design.
