These beautiful pot-shaped baskets are made from local grasses in the Buhera district of Zimbabwe and handwoven by the Bohero tribe.
Traditionally used for storing grain and carrying water, they are thick and sturdy baskets.
The Buhera Baskets are a sculptural piece that adds texture and warmth to the space. Beautiful as a feature in your house entrance or artwork on a mantelpiece.
SPECIFICATIONS
Available in three sizes:
- Medium H 60-75cm approx.
- Large H 75-85cm approx.
- XLarge H 85-100cm approx.
Due to the natural material and handmade nature of these baskets, size and finish will vary; some are more rounded while others are more elongated through the body. Each item is unique and individual; variations will occur from these images shown.
