With a blend of natural and industrial-inspired materials, the Amandla table collection brings texture to any space.
The hand-cast white resin and concrete composite tabletop results in a beautiful organic appearance.
The natural wood grain from the hand-carved munggur trunk base in a sanded natural finish brings warm tones and texture.
The perfect statement piece for any living room setting, indoor or outdoor undercover.
This beautiful product is hand carved from a solid Munggur wood trunk and is uniquely different from manufactured wood. Like a natural tree, this organic product will respond to temperature and humidity variations by expanding and contracting.
Movements and separations as the product adjust is not a fault but a natural occurrence within the fibres of a natural product.
DIA 50cm | H 55m
Inherent variations in wood trunks, the hand-poured top, and the casting process lend character to each table; no two will be exactly alike.
The white resin and concrete tabletop has been finished in-house with a premium-grade topcoat paint with surface hardness, excellent water resistance, and quality resistance to marking.
Delivering superior moisture, weather and wear-resistant surface, our moulded resin and concrete composite tabletops are a low-maintenance alternative to wood and other materials.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. This surface's toughness and high impermeable properties require no more than wiping with a soft cloth and a standard detergent mix.
Tabletop on a munggur wood base with PU sealant at the bottom.
We do not recommend leaving any furniture outdoors without appropriate covering. We strongly advise covering all outdoor furniture when not in use to ensure its longevity.
Exposure to the elements, such as rain, sun, wind, and dust, can cause premature wear and tear on outdoor furniture and textiles, reducing lifespan.
By covering your outdoor furniture when not in use, you can protect it from the elements, preserving its appearance and maintaining its structural integrity.
Please note that outdoor furniture covers are not guaranteed against damage. Following proper care and maintenance instructions is essential to keep your outdoor furniture in good condition.
Regular maintenance is necessary to maintain the quality of outdoor furniture. To maintain timber's beautiful natural appearance and character, we suggest regularly coating it with natural beeswax to repel water.
Additionally, it is essential to periodically inspect your outdoor furniture and covers for signs of wear and tear and to replace covers as needed.
Following these recommendations, you can enjoy your outdoor furniture for years.
Having the proper waterproof and protective covering can help protect furniture from the harsh climate. The Cover Company's premium outdoor covers will ensure outdoor furniture enjoys better longevity and avoids unnecessary damage or fading. The Cover Company offers customised covers for our full outdoor range. Find the right cover for your pieces here.
Due to Indonesia’s extended wet season, Uniqwa pauses all Munggur production from November through March. As many of our Munggur designs are crafted from solid trunk sections, we avoid manufacturing during this period to better manage moisture content and ensure the highest product quality.
To uphold the quality standards expected of Uniqwa, all Munggur items ordered during this time will enter production from March, and extended lead times may apply.
For clients working to specific project timelines, we welcome you to connect with your Uniqwa account manager to discuss current ETAs and suitable options.
Munggur wood is a natural timber, and as such, it is a living material that responds to variations in temperature and humidity. Expansion, contraction, movement, and cracking may occur as the timber adjusts. These are not faults but natural characteristics of solid wood.
Although our Munggur pieces are extensively kiln-dried, the substantial thickness of the timber naturally retains moisture at its core. During transport or over time, this moisture may surface and create water blemishes. While our team further enhances each piece upon arrival at our warehouse, moisture levels can continue to fluctuate. Surface blemishes and moisture spots are inherent to Munggur and are to be expected.
Some pieces may also exhibit black staining, which forms naturally as the timber interacts with its environment. These markings contribute to the individuality of each piece and are considered part of the timber’s unique character.
As with all natural timbers, residual moisture can slowly leech over time, potentially marking absorbent surfaces. We do not recommend placing solid Munggur pieces directly on carpets or rugs. Using a protective liner, such as thick plastic, may help minimise surface transfer if placement on soft flooring is required.
Many of Uniqwa’s timber ranges feature characterful woods with naturally occurring knots and tonal variations. No two Munggur pieces are alike, and clients should expect differences in tone, grain pattern, veins, leaching, cracking, knots, and black stains.
These elements are embraced as the natural beauty and authenticity of timber furniture. For this reason, Uniqwa does not offer refunds, replacements, or exchanges based on the natural characteristics described above.
Humidity causes mould to grow. Limited airflow and moisture create a microclimate for mould to develop. In some cases, mould will begin growing on furniture, clothing and other contents within the home.
In instances when this occurs, it is not an inherent fault of the furniture, clothing and other contents; rather, humidity or dampness in the air can supply enough moisture for mould growth on any surface. Mould can occur anywhere, and humid climates provide the optimal conditions for the fungi to grow and thrive on any surface.
Every Uniqwa piece has a story…
Our collections are mostly individually hand-made pieces. As most of our products are made from natural materials, texture, colour, and pattern may vary from piece to piece. Reclaimed timbers, naturally weathered materials and off-cuts otherwise discarded are frequently part of Uniqwa design features.
Natural splitting, cracking, and loss of natural oils may occur and form part of the characteristics and beauty of Uniqwa products. These are not viewed as imperfections or faults but as part of timber's natural life and beauty.
We believe the result of using natural materials and hand-crafted elements is a testament to the unique qualities found in materials originating from nature.
As every monitor displays different colour tones, the colour of pictures on our website and social media cannot be taken as a true colour indication of the actual products. Some product tones may appear to vary from catalogue or website images.
