Important Shopify settings

Set the page to:

  • Published and accessible by direct URL
  • Hidden from the main navigation
  • Hidden from the footer
  • Excluded from internal search results where possible
  • Set to noindex so it does not appear in Google’s organic search results

It should only be reached after a successful trade application.

Redirect the application form

After a successful submission, the form must redirect to:

/pages/trade-application-received

Do not redirect applicants to the homepage or leave them on the original application page.

Test the process in an incognito browser:

  1. Submit a test trade application.
  2. Confirm the submission is received.
  3. Confirm the browser redirects to the new page.
  4. Check that the full URL is correct.
  5. Refresh the thank-you page and confirm it loads normally.

Enter it in Google Ads

Return to the Google Ads screen and select:

Enter the URL that someone reaches after they successfully fill out a form
