Introducing

The hidden treasures of Nagaland

Discover the hidden treasures of Nagaland, a remote region in northeast India where breathtaking landscapes meet a vibrant, ancient culture. The Naga people have long preserved their unique heritage, a rich tapestry of tradition, artistry, and ritual now at risk of disappearing.

Each piece in the Naga Collection embodies this extraordinary legacy. Hand-carved from solid timber, these antique artefacts reflect the deep connection between the Naga and their land. Once used in everyday life, they now stand as enduring symbols of craftsmanship and history, each marked by time and human touch.

Comprising many distinct tribes, the Naga are known for their strength, independence, and exceptional woodcarving traditions. Their artistry captures a raw, sculptural beauty that speaks to both heritage and soul.

Every piece has been ethically acquired and personally hand-selected by Uniqwa’s head designer, Charl van Heerden. Accompanied by an authentication certificate, each Naga artefact celebrates culture, craftsmanship, and the preservation of authenticity; values that lie at the heart of Uniqwa Collections.
