Steam-Bent From a Single Piece of European White Oak

One piece of solid oak shaped in a single process.

No glue joins. No laminated layers.

ELULA | STEAM-BENT CONSTRUCTION

Each Elula piece is formed using a traditional steam-bending process, where solid European white oak is softened and shaped by hand into its final curved form. Unlike laminated or jointed methods, the timber is bent as a single, continuous section, allowing the grain to run uninterrupted from end to end.

This demanding technique requires precision and experience, with no margin for correction once the timber is set, resulting in a seamless structure that is both visually refined and structurally resilient.
