Siza Diameter 1.2m

With a blend of natural and industrial-inspired materials, the Amandla Dining Table brings texture and authenticity to any space.

The hand-cast white resin and concrete composite tabletop results in a beautiful organic appearance.

The natural wood grain from the hand-carved munggur trunk base in a finely sanded natural finish brings warm tones and texture.

The perfect statement piece for any dining setting, indoor or outdoor undercover.

This beautiful product is hand-carved from a solid Munggur wood trunk and is uniquely different from manufactured wood. Like a natural tree, this organic product will respond to temperature and humidity variations by expanding and contracting. Movements and separations as the product adjusts are not a fault but a natural occurrence within the fibres of a natural product.

Available in two sizes:

  • DIA 120cm | H 78cm
  • DIA 150cm | H 78cm

Inherent variations in wood trunks, the hand-poured top, and the casting process lend character to each table; no two will be exactly alike.

The white resin and concrete tabletop has been finished in-house with a premium-grade topcoat paint with surface hardness, excellent water resistance, and quality resistance to marking.

Delivering superior moisture, weather and wear-resistant surface, our moulded resin and concrete composite tabletops are a low-maintenance alternative to wood and other materials.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. This surface's toughness and high impermeable properties require no more than wiping with a soft cloth and a standard detergent mix.

We do not recommend leaving any furniture outdoors without appropriate covering. We strongly advise covering all outdoor furniture when not in use to ensure its longevity and optimal performance.

Exposure to the elements, such as rain, sun, wind, and dust, can cause premature wear and tear on outdoor furniture and textiles, reducing lifespan.

Exposure to the elements, such as rain, sun, wind, and dust, can cause premature wear and tear on outdoor furniture and textiles, reducing lifespan.

By covering your outdoor furniture when not in use, you can protect it from the elements, preserving its appearance and helping to maintain its structural integrity.

Please note that outdoor furniture covers are not guaranteed against damage, and following proper care and maintenance instructions is essential to keep your outdoor furniture in good condition.

Regular maintenance is necessary to maintain the quality of outdoor furniture. To maintain timber's beautiful natural appearance and character, we suggest regularly coating it with natural beeswax to repel water.

Additionally, it is essential to periodically inspect your outdoor furniture and covers for signs of wear and tear and to replace covers as needed.

Following these recommendations, you can enjoy your outdoor furniture for years.

Munggur wood is a natural timber, and as such, it is a 'living' material.

Munggur wood products will respond to temperature and humidity variations by expanding and contracting. Movements and cracks may occur as the timber adjusts – this is not a fault but a natural occurrence within the fibres of a natural product.

The natural moisture content of solid munggur items is high. Although our products are kiln-dried for an extensive period, the design of this particular product embraces a thickness in timber that retains moisture at its core. During transport, moisture may surface and leave water blemishes. While we have a process to further enhance our munggur wood pieces after receiving them at our warehouse, the moisture content of munggur wood can still fluctuate, and excess moisture may resurface. Water blemishes are to be expected and are part of the inherent characteristics of solid munggur wood.

Additionally, some pieces may exhibit black stains, which are a natural occurrence. These marks are not faults but a result of the wood's interaction with its environment. The stains enhance the unique character of each piece, making it one-of-a-kind.

As with any natural material, existing fluids and moisture can leech over time, which may cause stains on some surfaces. We do not recommend placing this natural timber piece directly onto carpets or rugs. Moisture will generally seep through the ends of the timber. If placing it on carpets or rugs, markings may be avoided by using a protective liner, such as thick plastic.

Many of our timber ranges feature characterful woods with naturally occurring knots and a variety of colours. Grain and knot variations in the wood are characteristics of timber, not defects.

No two pieces of munggur timber are alike, and customers should expect variance in tone, veins, grain pattern, leaching, cracking, knots, and black stains.

None of the above is considered a fault; we embrace these elements as the natural characteristics and beauty of timber furniture.

Uniqwa does not offer refunds, replacements, or exchanges based on the natural look of the timber as described. These unique aspects are an accepted part of purchasing Uniqwa furniture.

Weather events such as high humidity and dampness, especially after periods of high rainfall, commonly cause mildew and mould to grow on the surface of wood.

While we favour the look of raw sanded wood, coating wood pieces with a wood sealer/water repellent product such as varnish or lacquer can help to make mould easier to remove from the surface or keep it from growing.

A coated product will cause moisture to bead up and run off the surface instead of penetrating and allowing mould spores and mildew to grow. Please note that adding a coating to the product will change the look and feel of the wood.

If you prefer to retain the original raw look that we favour and mould does appear, using a mould remover as soon as possible after the mould develops is advised to clean and maintain your product.

Should the mould have sunken roots into the wood, light sanding with fine sandpaper may become necessary to restore your piece.

Humidity causes mould to grow. Limited airflow and moisture create a microclimate for mould to develop. In some cases, mould will begin growing on furniture, clothing and other contents within the home.
In instances when this occurs, it is not an inherent fault of the furniture, clothing and other contents; rather, humidity or dampness in the air can supply enough moisture for mould growth on any surface. Mould can occur anywhere, and humid climates provide the optimal conditions for the fungi to grow and thrive on any surface.

Every Uniqwa piece has a story…

Our collections are mostly individually hand-made pieces. As most of our products are made from natural materials, texture, colour, and pattern may vary from piece to piece. Reclaimed timbers, naturally weathered materials and off-cuts otherwise discarded are frequently part of Uniqwa design features.

Natural splitting, cracking, and loss of natural oils may occur and form part of the characteristics and beauty of Uniqwa products. These are not viewed as imperfections or faults but as part of timber's natural life and beauty.

We believe the result of using natural materials and hand-crafted elements is a testament to the unique qualities found in materials originating from nature.

As every monitor displays different colour tones, the colour of pictures on our website and social media cannot be taken as a true colour indication of the actual products. Some product tones may appear to vary from catalogue or website images.
