Full-time $60,000 – $70,000 annual plus Superannuation
About the role
We're looking for a proactive, hands-on Warehouse Team Member to join our close-knit team in Ashmore. You'll be involved in the full flow of warehouse operations, from unloading containers and loading trucks, to picking and packing, to quality-checking imported furniture before it reaches our clients.
This is a great role for someone who takes pride in doing a job properly, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to be part of a business where the work genuinely matters.
What you'll be doing
- Unloading shipping containers and loading trucks
- Manual handling of bulky and heavy furniture items
- Accurate picking and packing
- Quality control checks on imported, handmade furniture, checking for damage, finish quality, and consistency against our standards
- Keeping the warehouse organised, safe, and running efficiently
- Working closely with the team to keep things moving in a fast-paced environment
What we're looking for
- A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told
- Someone who genuinely cares about doing good work and getting the details right
- Comfortable with regular heavy lifting and manual handling
- Furniture or bulky goods warehouse experience is highly regarded
- An eye for quality, experience with handmade or natural-material furniture is a bonus, as it helps when assessing imported stock against our standards
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work autonomously when needed
- A Medium Heavy Vehicle licence is an advantage but not essential
