Kusila Pendant LightWC-398
RRP incl. GST | Trade price excl. GST
Our Kusila Pendant Light is made with alang alang; the grass thatch of Asia. This material was the primary means of providing a roof for millions of people until more westernised structures came about.
The hand woven alang alang grass is a renewable material, therefore is eco friendly and its shaggy exterior creates a much more relaxed and casual look than many other more rigid structures. It creates a textural impact, is a real statement piece and will draw attention as an interior focal point.
Wiring included, black 1.5 meter long cord with silver coloured ceiling cap. We recommend installation by qualified electrician.
DIA 85cm | H 55cmThe Kusila Pendant is made from grasses, woven when the grass is still fresh. Therefore, your Kusila Pendant can experience movements and slight colour variations as it adjusts to its new environment and completing the natural drying process. This is not a fault, but a natural occurrence within the fibres of a natural, organic product. We embrace these changes as the natural characteristics and beauty of the Kusila Pendant. Uniqwa does not offer refunds, replacements or exchanges arising from the look of the item as described here. Every Uniqwa piece has a story…
Our range is largely individually, hand-made pieces. As the majority of our products are made from natural materials, elements such as texture, colour and pattern may vary piece to piece.
Reclaimed timbers, naturally weathered materials and off-cuts otherwise discarded are frequently part of Uniqwa design features. Over time, natural splitting, cracking and loss of natural oils may occur and form part of the characteristics and beauty of Uniqwa products. These are not viewed as imperfections or faults, rather part of the natural life and beauty of timber.
We believe the use of natural materials and hand-crafted elements result in a testament to the unique qualities found in materials originating from nature.
